The German & LIFESTYLE COURSES were designed to provide a balance between German and an activity you enjoy. German lessons take place in the morning and the content will be selected according to your preferences. You can either concentrate on German relating to your LIFESTYLE COURSE or opt for a different focus. In the afternoon, everything will centre around your LIFESTYLE COURSE, with specially selected trainers, activities and initiatives. In total we offer 7 Lifestyle courses to choose from.

German & WINE

Bamberg is located at the edge of a small fine wine region in Franconia. It stretches over 6000 hectares from Bamberg to Aschaffenburg am Main and the steep slopes of the Steigerwald. This region is home to attractive villages, fine wines, landscape typical of the region and an authentically charming atmosphere. Wine growers tend to be traditional families or “young guns” and typical wine-growing villages such as Iphofen, Sommerach, Seinsheim and Zeil tempt you to linger for a while and try some wines.

Example: Weekly plan with full board for German + Wine

As a rule, you will arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning. If you have booked for 2 or more weeks, you can look forward to a day trip on Sunday.

You will have 20*45 minutes of German lessons from Monday to Friday, with teaching material including informative wine-related content. In addition, there is a wine program every afternoon or evening, including visits to fine wine stores, trips to vineyards and, of course, a wine tasting. While we offer you many opportunities to speak German, it is entirely up to you how many activities you do and how much time you have to yourself. We offer the activities and you select what you like!

Price includes:

• Transfer to and from the station in the town of study
• Registration fee, placement test and course material
• 20*45 minutes of 1-1 lessons with a private teacher
• 5 WINE sessions: Facts about Franconian wine. Wine tasting with friends at home, drive to a wine region, wine tasting on site, visit wine store and walk to the last vineyard in Bamberg
• Drive to a wine-growing region, visit a tavern/wine bar, dinner and wine tasting
• Tailored activity programme: 1x sightseeing, 2x short walk, 1x outing to a Franconian wine region
• Practice sessions at all meals
